Hornets stun Lakers 100-97 after Luka struggles and LeBron misses 2 late shots to tie it

Miles Bridges scored 29 points, LaMelo Ball added 27 and the Charlotte Hornets stunned LeBron James and Luka Doncic with a 100-97 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night. James scored 16 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter, but missed two 3-point attempts right before the buzzer. Doncic had 14 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists in his third game for the Lakers, who bookended the All-Star break with losses to Utah and Charlotte, two of the NBA's worst teams.
