Lakers coach Byron Scott not backing off ‘soft’ comments

Byron Scott wasn't emulating the Zen Master on Wednesday night when he called his own team soft after the Lakers' embarrassing 114-89 loss to the Clippers.It wasn't an attempt to manipulate his team through the media, something Phil Jackson might appreciate. The Lakers coach was just mad."I was just telling them the truth," Scott said.
