LOS ANGELES >> Unlike the sentiments Oklahoma City guard Russell Westbrook might feel, it hardly seems surprising none of the Lakers' young core were named starters for the NBA All-Star game next month. The Lakers have fallen toward the bottom of the Western Conference standings. Meanwhile, second-year guard D'Angelo Russell, third-year forward Julius Randle, rookie forward Brandon Ingram and third-year guard Jordan Clarkson have experienced varying waves of inconsistency.
