Cowboys scouted former Kentucky guard at a Lakers workout

Former Kentucky guard Dominique Hawkins, left, might have an NFL future if his pro basketball options dry up. The Dallas Cowboys are not afraid to turn over a lot of stones when it comes to scouting. According to this interesting story from the Louisville Courier-Journal, the Cowboys sent a representative to a workout run by the NBA's Los Angeles Lakers to take a look at former Kentucky guard Dominique Hawkins on Monday.
