Jazz, Lakers getting late looks at bench players

The Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Lakers will head in opposite directions next week. The Jazz will enter the playoffs for the third season in a row, while the Lakers will start their vacations early for a sixth straight year. Because of injuries, both slight and severe, the Jazz and Lakers will continue to be severely short-handed when they meet in Los Angeles on Sunday.
