The NBA world had their eyes on Portland as the Trail Blazers played host to LeBron James in his debut with the Lakers. James signed a four-year, $153 million deal with the Lakers as a free agent in the offseason. The Trail Blazers were riding a 15-game win streak over the Lakers and held a 17-game home opener win streak, as well.
