James Worthy insisted he will not follow any superstitions. He will not show off any of his three NBA championship rings and will not bring the photo he often carries that features himself with the late Chick Hearn, the famed Lakers announcer who attended the NBA draft in 1982 when Worthy became the Lakers' last No.
